What is the use of flow switch and its features?

Flow switch monitors the liquid, air and it will send trip indication to various devices like pump. It points the pump to turn on or shut off. Common uses of these flow switches are protection of pumps for the purpose of alarms as well as cooling circuit for too low or too high flow costs.

Uses

These switches are preferred by the manufacturers of boilers. It is widely used in the applications of chillers, process work, water boosters of domestic purpose, heating systems and water systems.

Liquid flow switches are used for pump systems, blending systems, equipment for water cooling systems, chlorination of swimming pools, systems of fire sprinklers, systems of air conditioning, systems of water treatment, etc. Air flow switches are used for systems of cleaning room filters, heating of duct type, exhaust ventilating, systems of air supply and systems of air treatment.

Functions

It performs specific functions that are on the basis upon the requirement. For instance, it stops the monitor when there is no flow present, begins the motors when there is a flow present, sounds alarms when there is a flow stops and shut off the alarm when there is an appropriate flow.
